ABOUT TCFSA The Twin City Figure Skating Association (TCFSA) consists of figure skating clubs within the state of Minnesota who are permanent members of the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) and who desire to join the association. The association was initially formed as a result of the combined efforts of the Figure Skating Club of Minneapolis, the St. Paul Figure Skating Club, and the Braemar-City of Lakes Figure Skating Club joining together to host the 1973 United States Figure Skating Championships. Those involved desired to continue the goodwill and cooperation that prevailed and thus formed the TCFSA and used the proceeds of the championship as its treasury. The purpose of this association is to foster, promote, improve, and encourage the sport of figure skating among youth under 18 years of age in the State of Minnesota, to promote cooperation between the 20 member clubs and to encourage and facilitate participation in regional, sectional, national, and international figure skating competitions. The TCFSA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, gender, or national origin. What TCFSA does for it's membership!
